Eazyflow Self Compacting:
Laid to a minimum of 75mm, our very own ‘Eazyflow Self Compacting’ offers a compressive strength of 35N/mm² at 28 days whilst eliminating the need for vibration or power floats due to its self levelling characteristics. Suitable for use with structural fibres and open to light foot traffic within 48hrs makes Eazyflow Self Compacting concrete perfect for anything from domestic floors and slabs through to structural toppings and commercial slabs.
Sika® Watertight Concrete:
Even good quality concrete will allow the passage of water through it as a function of capillarity, the volume of capillary pores in concrete is proportional to the water/cement (w/c) ratio. Incorporating Sika® Watertight Concrete admixtures reduces the w/c ratio whilst producing a highly workable concrete to aid placing and compaction. The remaining capillary pores are blocked using the hydrophobic or crystalline material contained within the watertight concrete admixture. Sika® Watertight Concrete Powder is a combined water-resisting and HRWR/Superplasticising admixture, used to enhance the workability of and reduce the water permeability of concrete.
Sika® Lightcrete Powder:
Sika® Lightcrete Powder is a powdered foaming admixture formulated to provide low density concrete and mortar. Sika® Lightcrete Powder is mainly used for the following applications; production of low density concrete and mortar, void fill, lightweight construction, filling utility trenches and pipes (backfill), Variable use in different concrete systems with different raw materials. Sika® Lightcrete Powder is especially suitable for application on site. It has Strong foaming properties allow for the production air content up to 35%, less segregation and bleed, provides improved flowability and pumpability and is packaged in water soluble bags for easy dispensing. Conforms to the requirements of BS 8443.
Coloured Concrete:
We also offer a coloured concrete with the use of HATCRETE Colourmix. Available in 24 different colours, say goodbye to messy dyes and inconsistent pigments. HATCRETE Colourmix offers a revolutionary ready-to-use, pre-weighed solution for colouring concrete. This precision-manufactured admixture features stringently controlled properties, ensuring superior performance and stunning results.
ICF Concrete:
Made popular by ‘Grand Designs’ Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF Concrete) is a building system that combines insulation with reinforced concrete. ICF’s are typically made of expanded polystyrene or similar materials, which are used to create forms for pouring concrete. These forms remain in place after the concrete cures, providing continuous insulation and structural support. Overall, ICF concrete is a modern solution for energy efficient and durable construction.
Permeable Concrete:
Permeable concrete, also know as porous or pervious concrete, is a type of concrete designed to allow water to flow through it. It has a high porosity, which enables it to manage stormwater run-off effectively, promoting sustainability in urban environments.
EazyRapid Concrete:
One of our own designs, ‘EazyRapid’ concrete is a C40 rapid setting concrete, high strength concrete. Offering a compressive strength of 40N/mm² at 48 hours EazyRapid is designed for fast-track construction projects where quick curing is essential.
Structural Fibres:
Structural fibres in concrete are additives used to enhance the materials properties, durability and overall performance. The use of fibres has been accepted by engineers and contractors as the optimum reinforcement solution. Here at Eazylay Concrete we work alongside market leader Fibre Concrete Solutions to make sure we are able to offer unmatched expertise in fibre reinforced concrete applications. FCS also offer a design and engineering service ensuring the best concrete design to suit your individual project.
Air Entrainer:
Air entrainer concrete is a type of concrete that incorporates air-entraining agents to create microscopic bubbles within the mix. These bubbles improve the performance of concrete in various environmental conditions, particularly in freeze-thaw cycles. Here at Eazylay we work alongside admixture specialists ‘Cemex Admixtures’ to make sure all our concrete admixtures are produced in accordance with BS EN 934 and are CE marked under the BSI Certificate of Factory Production Control.
